PC-DMIS Offline: GD&T Selection from Capture

In this iteration of our weekly PC-DMIS video short, we take a closer look at the innovative feature ‘GD&T Selection from Capture’. This feature was introduced in 2019 R1 and uses OCR (optical character recognition) technology to automate the input of GD&T data from prints; driving programming efficiency and removing errors inherent in manual input. This is a follow up from last week’s Work From Home Tip on using measurement strategies within QuickFeatures.

Stay tuned each week for more PC-DMIS tips and tricks. If you haven’t downloaded PC-DMIS yet, please check out our Hexagon work at home smarter page. For more knowledge base materials, visit here to register and start accessing Hexagon’s free library of learning materials.
