Global PC-DMIS Users’ Group Meetings Launch at HxGN LIVE 2017

PC-DMIS users from all over the globe and every industry will converge on Las Vegas this June for the annual HxGN LIVE conference. Only this year, they’ll get more and see more of what matters most to them in the form of PC-DMIS training, interactive sessions, user group meetings with developers, and various workshops. It all kicks off on Tuesday 13 June 2017 with a full day PC-DMIS Master Class free training session you won’t find at any Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Solutions Center. Tuesday’s training will include a Workflow Optimization class thatwill teach you how to squeeze every last bit of efficiency and speed out of your measurement routines as well as how to minimize your inspection planning time. A GD&T class will discuss the latest in the ever-evolving standards as wellas the relationship between them and how these developments work in the real world. And a Point Cloud Management class will teach the latest technologies in Cloud of Points inspection and data management. The Master Class is a full day of learning from and interacting with PC-DMIS developers and engineers, it’s free, and lunch is included – so don’t miss it!

As the conference continues Wednesday through Friday, PC-DMIS Development Managers and Applications Engineers will put on the first Global PC-DMIS Users’ Group meeting ever, with collaborative sessions and dynamic workshops for PC-DMIS users at every skill level. These sessions are geared towards the seasoned user but even if you’re new to PC-DMIS, there’s plenty to learn and lots of built in Q&A and one-on-one time. Some of the sessions include: Reporting and CMM Motion workshops where you’ll learn and discuss reporting tools, tips, and tricks, as well as CMM path tools and optimization. A PC-DMIS development process session will give you an insider’s view on how new tools are chosen for development and why enhancements are prioritized. Another session will present a side by side comparison of ‘standard’ PC-DMIS workflows against the new QuickMeasure tools. Of course, we’ll have a PC-DMIS Power Users sessions for you to fully geek out with our developers and engineers. A design workshop will take you behind the scenes of the design process from interface mockups to early builds to final release software. And the extremely popular metrology Lounge is back again this year, so bring your nastiest prints, craziest CAD assemblies, and most tricky parts (if you can carry them, that is), sit with our experts and get those problems solved!

Finally, if that isn’t enough already, we’re having a PC-DMISUsers’ Contest this year and giving you a chance to win a $2,000 USD prize or charitable donation (depending on your company’s policies, of course), an Apple iPad, and free full conference registration.

So what are you waiting for? Register for the HxGN LIVE conference today and take your PC-DMIS skills to the next level.
