In early April 2021, the Guardian reported that global manufacturing growth reached a ten-year high, seeing expansion across employment, orders, and output. According to Asialink Business, Indonesia is now the tenth largest manufacturing nation in the world. Between 2015 and 2018, the country’s manufacturing output grew from $115 billion to $207 billion, according to data from the United Nations Statistics Division. The manufacturing sector now employs approximately 25 million workers in Indonesia.
